My name is Lisa, and I am the author of Ideas for Teachers. I am a primary school teacher with a Bachelor of Education (Prim), Grad Cert in Learning Technology, and a Masters of Education Studies. I have been a primary school teacher since 2001, and have seen many changes in the education system. My philosophy is that professional development is the key to success – do your best to remain current, and remain productive! 😉
I have put together this blog to share with you the ideas and useful sites and applications that I have come across over the years. I believe that the children are the focus, not the teacher, so we should all be working together to improve the educational outcomes of our students by sharing our ideas and resources. Why work harder than we already do? Why re-invent the wheel? If I can help you in your classroom by sharing ideas and resources I use in mine, then my goal has been met!
I hope you enjoy my blog, and find some useful sites/ideas that you can use in your classroom. Don’t forget to leave some comments when you have some ideas to share, or have found something useful – I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
