At Mathalicious, the mission is to help transform the way math is taught by providing teachers with the best, most meaningful and most relevant math content available.  The lessons are aligned to traditional state standards.  Unlike most math resources, though, the content emphasizes both conceptual understanding and real-world application.

What does this mean for you?

It means you can teach fractions, decimals and percents at the same time, and in a way that students understand.  It means you can use proportions to compare the iPhone and the iPad, and linear equations to determine whether music makes you run faster.  In the end, our approach means you can cover more material in less time, and with better results.

The lessons on Mathalicious are free (… there’s that word again!!!).   🙂
